She was awarded a Writer’s Voice fellowship through the Billings
(Montana) Family YMCA to teach a juried writing workshop over a
period of nine Saturdays. She has conducted many other workshops,
one on horseback in Yellowstone for the Yellowstone Institute,
others – in rural areas of Montana – through the state's Poets on
the Prairies program. She also taught in several Montana public
schools as part of the state's Artists in the Schools program, and
participated as an instructor in Montana’s Rural Arts Roundup.
